I Felt Really Comfortable

Rebecca came to my house. My 2 young kids REALLY did not want to play ball, I was ready to say “dont worry, let’s just leave it” but she was so patient and understanding, and trying to help bring them around. The photos we ended up with, you would not have a clue the dramas and tears we went through 😂. It felt like she was one of my friends. I felt really comfortable her being in my house. Thank you.

Why Choose an In-Home Family Photoshoot?

Many mums worry about booking a photoshoot because they don’t feel “camera-ready” or worry about their children not sitting still. That’s why I focus on relaxed, natural photography—capturing the love, laughter, and everyday magic without any pressure.

Comfort of Your Own Home – No need to pack up the kids or stress about the weather.
No Stiff Posing – Just natural, authentic moments with your little ones.

What Will We Do During the Photoshoot?

Worried about what to do during the session? Don’t be! My approach is all about keeping things fun, natural, and relaxed—no forced smiles, no stiff poses, just real moments of connection.

During your Mother’s Day photoshoot, we’ll focus on capturing the little moments that make motherhood so special. Here are some simple activities we can include to create beautiful, heartfelt images:

Cuddles on the Sofa – Snuggle up with your little ones for those warm, cosy moments that make motherhood so special.

Storytime Together – Grab your child’s favourite book and share a quiet moment while I capture the love in their little eyes as they listen.

Tea & Biscuits (or Milk & Cookies!) – A relaxed way to keep little hands busy while creating the sweetest, most natural photos.

Sing a Favourite Nursery Rhyme – Whether it’s a lullaby or a silly song, this is a lovely way to bring out real giggles and connection.

Tiny Toes & Tickle Fights – Playful tickles, little feet climbing on your lap—these are the moments that slip away too fast.

Peekaboo & Playtime – Especially great for younger children, we can keep things playful and fun to capture their real personality.

Just Be Together – At the end of the day, the most meaningful photos come from simply being you—chatting, laughing, and soaking in this stage of life.

These activities help keep little ones engaged while ensuring your photos feel natural and personal. And don’t worry—I’ll gently guide you so you never feel awkward or unsure of what to do.
